HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) – Que Pasa Houston!

The Bayou City Art Festival is back for its 50th year. It all happens at Memorial Park along the S. Picnic Loop from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday through Sunday.

If you’re new to H-town, the Bayou City Art Festival is all about arts, music, food, and entertainment. Check their website for tickets.

This weekend, the Latin Film Festival is back in person. It takes place at the Match downtown. The festival’s founders said it would be an engaging experience ranging from an art exhibit to workshops to films, some of which were filmed right here in Houston.

“We’re also going to have a Q&A with the director,” said program director Pedro Rivas. & Co. Founder of the Latin Film Festival. “We’re going to have a lot of great films from around the world and local artists.”

“They can go out and check out the workshops, there’s one that’s going to be about writing,” said David Cortez, Dir. Operations. & Co. Founder of the Latin Film Festival.

There will be other workshops where Mexican filmmakers will show fashion videos. Find out all the details on the Latin Film Festival website.
