SIBU: A host of fun activities have been prepared in conjunction with the staging of the inaugural “Sibu Street Art Festival” at the Chuan Corridor, Sibu Town Square from June 9 to 17.

Festival President Wong Hie Ping said the festival is organized by Sibu City Council, of which she is a councilor.

Activities include the street art gallery and photo booth of murals available any time of the day, the creative bazaar and children’s amusement park open from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., the vintage mini-theater (7 p.m. -9: 30 p.m.), Street Life Busking, a coloring contest and a wall drawing contest (5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on June 17).

“The ‘Sibu Street Art Festival 2017′ is being organized in conjunction with Visit Sibu Year (VSY) 2017,” Wong said yesterday, accompanying the vice-chairman of the board, Rogayah Jamain, to check the progress of the preparations for the festival. .
