New Canaan, Connecticut – LiveGirl will once again partner with the Carriage Barn Arts Center for its fifth annual juried art exhibition. This year’s She Is Rising exhibition will showcase over 100 works of art in all mediums by female artists celebrating women and girls. The exhibition will run from June 2 to 16 and is free to the public.
LiveGirl Founder and CEO Sheri West expressed her excitement for the exhibit, “This exhibit is inspired by the girls in our community who are rising up and celebrating the power of women and girls everywhere.” West continued, “This year, the exhibition will feature an exciting large-scale art installation by pop phenomenon Tara Blackwell and an interactive community feminist graffiti wall by emerging artist Brea Young.”
“We are proud to partner with LiveGirl and showcase the work of these talented artists,” said Hilary Wittman, Executive Director of Carriage Barn Arts Center. “Selected pieces reflect many interpretations of female power and celebrate LiveGirl’s mission to build leaders.”
Featured Artist Tara Blackwell shared, “I feel honored to be part of this meaningful exhibition alongside so many incredible female artists. There is power in coming together and I hope our collective work will inspire and uplift other women and girls.
