Holiday Events: Miniature Art Exhibit, Celebration of Lights Among Seasonal Offerings | Characteristics

The Interfaith Outreach Association Annual Meeting Walter M. Fore, Jr. Open house of the Congregation of Grand Rivermont 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Ten congregations will be open to the public: Agudath Sholom Synagogue, Centenary United Methodist Church, Church of the Covenant, Fellowship Church of Christ, First Christian Church, First Presbyterian Church, Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Peakland Baptist Church, Peakland United Methodist Church and St. John’s Episcopal Church.

Activities include a 35th anniversary celebration of Interfaith Outreach at 11 a.m. at the Fellowship Church of Christ and a rehearsal for the Central Virginia Cantata Children and Youth Choir from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in St. John’s. Tickets for the tour cost $ 20 per person and the proceeds go to Interfaith Outreach’s Emergency Assistance Program. (434) 846-6098.

Spectrum Arts Society, which seeks to educate LGBTQ + people and their allies through music, presents the concert “And We’re Still Singing: Holiday Spectacular” at 7 pm in the Snidow Chapel at Lynchburg College.
