Art Bazaar scheduled for this Sunday
The Art Bazaar is back in Grass Valley.
The bazaar takes place from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays at 12527 Loma Rica Drive in Loma Rica’s warehouse district.
The first bazaar, held in June, saw more than 200 attendees throughout the day, Joshua Nathan said in a press release. This Sunday’s event will bring together local artists, artisans, dancers and community members for a collaborative meeting place.
“This meeting place is centered on art and musical culture,” said Nathan. “We will be featuring over 15 local craft vendors, over 10 local painters (more from out of state), and five local musicians.”
The event is organized in collaboration with Nathan, a local musician and art collector, and Tyler Minnick, who operates Sacred State Clothing.
Food will be provided by Mountain Lotus Provisions.
Rad’s Lab and Gallery and Sacred State Design’s Print Shop will be open to the public. The gallery features works by Hannah Yata, Jonathan Solter, Jake Amason, Miles Toland, Luke Schroeder, Blake Foster, Naoto Hattori, Stephan Haman, Jake Amason, Ben Ridgeway, Apex Collective and others.
“The last event we hosted was such a positive experience for the community,” Nathan said. “Vendors made a lot of money, which is a big part of why we’re hosting this event. I want to see a world where artists, creators, and artisans can sustainably make a living from their art.”
