American Express – Bywater American Bistro in New Orleans is serving yurt dining this winter
Bywater American Bistro, Chef Nina Compton’s second highly acclaimed New Orleans restaurant, will provide heated tents for dining events that can be ordered the following month as one of about a dozen restaurants across the country that are listed with Resy for Yurt Villages “working together” eating skills.
Resy announced this week that 13 prestigious restaurants in 12 US cities will host the “unique dining experience” this winter, which Resy describes as “a collection of heated tents.” Sponsored by American Express, reservations for the classy pop-up can only be found for American Express cardholders.
According to the Resy website, the Bywater American Bistro’s extravagant fixed-price menu offers a smoked onion tart, Lyonnaise salad, sautéed golf prawns in veloute sauce, beef bourguignon and, excitingly, croquembouche, a French dessert made from profiteroles stacked directly in a cone and safe together with spun sugar.
From this point onwards, American Express cardholders will be able to make high-end reservations at the Bywater American Bistro from December 2nd through December 17th Naming al fresco dining this winter, some cities, such as Portland, have already had to postpone due to the current al fresco dining breaks.
Eater has reached out to Bywater American Bistro for additional information on their yurt food expertise and may replace this publication when we hear again.
